The Root Chakra

The Root or Base Chakra is located at the base of the spine. This chakra helps you with your awareness of self and your place in the world. It has been attributed to monetary and career success. It can also be used to enhance your emotional and physical well-being.

If the chakra is blocked some signs could be:

  • Bones and muscles issues.
  • Weight gain.
  • No interest in your career/opportunities.
  • Financial problems.
  • Feelings of being lost.
  • Insufficient Blood circulation.
  • Issues with Sexuality.

The colours for this chakra are RED, BLACK, BROWN, SILVER.

 

The Sacral Chakra

The Sacral or Sexual Chakra is located on the lower abdomen between the naval and the pubic bone. This chakra helps in developing and enhancing your emotions and attachments.

If the chakra is blocked some signs could be:

  • Pain in the lower back.
  • Digestive problems.
  • Anxiety.
  • Fear.
  • Stress.

The colours for this chakra are ORANGE, PEACH.

 

The Solar Plexus Chakra

The Solar Plexus Chakra is located between the base of the rib cage and the belly button. This Chakra helps you to mould your life in an effective way. It is associated with self-worth, self-confidence, spontaneity, laughter and Joy.

If the chakra is blocked some signs could be:

  • Digestion problems.
  • Lack of immunity to infection.
  • Lack of self esteem.
  • Feeling powerless or lack of control over one’s life.

The colours for this chakra are YELLOW.

 

The Heart Chakra

The Heart Chakra is located in the centre of the chest between the pectoral muscles. This chakra helps you love and care for yourself and others. This chakra helps you with compassion, increases loving relationships with family and friends, and helps with decision making.

If your chakra is blocked some signs could be:

  • Tendency to distrust others.
  • Instigate fights to protect your heart.
  • Worry about being abandoned.
  • Have a fear of commitment to relationships, career or a major decision.

The colours for this chakra are GREEN, PINK.

 

The Throat Chakra

The Throat Chakra is located between the notch in the collar bone and the Adam’s Apple. This chakra helps you communicate with others. It helps your voice your opinions.

If your chakra is blocked some signs could be:

  • Sore throat.
  • Laryngitis.
  • Blocked throat.

The colours for this chakra are SKY BLUE, DARK BLUE, TURQUOISE.

 

The Third Eye Chakra

TheThird Eye or Intuitive Chakra is located in the centre of the forehead. This chakra helps you to see both on the physical and spiritual planes. It has been known to help you with your dreams, intuition, memory, concentration and enhance your psychic abilities.

If your chakra is blocked some signs could be:

  • Inability to implement plans.
  • Nightmares or recurrent dreams.
  • Lack of focus and concentration.

The crystals for this chakra are INDIGO, DARK BLUE.

 

The Crown Chakra

TheCrown Chakra is located at the top of the head. This chakra helps you to connect with your inner spirit and the divine, it helps you to increase your awareness of the world around you.

If this chakra is blocked some signs could be:

  • Tension headaches.
  • Migraines.
  • Coordination problems.

The crystals for this chakra are PURPLE, VIOLET, WHITE, GOLD.

These are some of the signs, however, a combination of many other symptoms may be related to one or more than one chakra at the same time.

 

What can you do to keep your Chakras balanced and BioEnergy field charged?

  • Take 5 minutes daily and close your eyes, breathe in deeply, restore calm in heart and mind.
  • Learn a new meditation like the ‘chakra or aura cleansing’ meditation.
  • Take up Yoga Classes or Meditation classes.
  • Go for a brisk walk or run, do some type of cardio 10 minutes per day.
  • Start your day with a Gratitude Exercise or Mantra practice.
  • Treat yourself to an energy therapy once a month; Chakra Balancing, Reiki or Aura Cleansing.
  • Take a Himalayan salt or Austrian Moor Mud bath once a week.
  • Commit to finding your resolve each and every day.
  • Eat whole plant-based foods; organic and locally grown as much as possible.
